MANCHESTER, Ga. (WTVM) – The Manchester Blue Devils football team will compete Friday night for a chance to advance to the state championship, but a key senior leader first announced his plans for the future.
Justus Terry is one of the top-rated defensive lineman in the 2025 recruiting class. He previously announced his commitment to the University of Georgia, but later flipped and opened his recruitment to all schools.
Terry announced Friday at noon that he would be signing with the University of Texas.
His classmate and running back CJ Favors also announced he will be committing to the University of West Georgia.
Manchester will host Brooks County Friday in the GHSA semi-finals for a chance to return to the state championship game in Atlanta.
