Free MLB picks, predictions, best bets for Saturday, July 19: This three-leg baseball parlay pays nearly 7-1

The second half of the MLB season is in full swing with 15 games on the Saturday MLB schedule, and the action beginning at 3:07 p.m. ET. Perhaps no player in the league is as red-hot as Miami Marlins outfielder Kyle Stowers. Dating back to last Sunday, he’s now 8 of his last 10 with five home runs and 11 RBI over that two-game span. His hot bat is a big reason SportsLine’s model is backing the Marlins (+101) to pull the slight upset over the Royals on Saturday.

Elsewhere on the MLB schedule, the model is high on two other underdogs, backing the Reds +1.5 (-142) against the Mets and Nationals (+125) against the Padres. Before making any MLB picks or building any MLB parlay picks, you’ll want to see the MLB predictions and betting advice from SportsLine’s proven computer simulation model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every MLB game 10,000 times. It entered Week 17 of the 2025 MLB season 46-43 on top-rated MLB picks. It has excelled making home run prop picks this season, returning more than 40 units of profit. Anybody following at sportsbooks and on betting apps could have seen strong returns.

The model has broken down the MLB odds for Saturday and just revealed its top MLB picks. Combining the model’s three picks into an MLB parlay at DraftKings Sportsbook would result in a payout of +671 (risk $100 to win $671). Here are its best bets for the MLB slate on Saturday

  • Marlins on money line vs. Royals (+101)
  • Reds on run line line vs. Mets (-142)
  • Nationals on money line vs. Padres (+125)
  • Combine these picks for a shot at a +671 payout (odds subject to change)

Marlins on money line vs. Royals (+101)

The Marlins still could end up being sellers at the deadline, but they’ve been one of the better teams in the league over the past month. They had an eight-game winning streak late in June and into early July. Now they’ve won three in a row after taking Game 1 in this series. Stowers’ hot bat helps power the Marlins again in these simulations as Miami wins 4.2-3.8, making the Marlins the value play as slight underdogs.

Reds +1.5 on run line vs. Mets (-142)

The Reds have also won three straight and five of their last six overall. They dominated in Game 1 of this series against the Mets in an 8-4 victory, sending New York to its fourth loss in it last six games overall. The model is projecting a razor-thin margin on Saturday as the Mets win by just 0.1 runs on average, making Cincinnati the strong play at +1.5 on the run line.

Nationals on money line vs. Padres (+125)

The Padres are starting Yu Darvish, who has a 6.48 ERA in two ineffective starts this season as he works his way back from an elbow injury. The Nationals have struggled recently but they are the home team and they’ve returned positive money-line numbers this year as underdogs, and the model is calling for another mild upset in this NL tilt.
