How To Watch Western Oregon Football In 2025

Led by head coach Arne Ferguson, who has been with Western Oregon Football for 40 years, he is entering his 20th season as head coach. Ferguson has been instrumental in turning Western Oregon into a winning program, as he holds a 109-96 record all-time.

After leading Western Oregon to a third-place finish in their first year in the Lone Star Conference, he’s looking to lead his team to more in 2025, a Lone Star Conference title.

The Western Oregon Wolves are looking to make a splash in the Lone Star Conference in 2025 after all six of their wins came in conference play, leading to a 6-5, 6-3 season.

Armed with a veteran group of arms in the quarterback room, led by redshirt senior Kainoa Jones, who threw for 758 yards and five touchdowns in eight games, the Wolves have several key players returning on offense. Redshirt junior Jordan McCarty played in all 11 games and threw for 663 yards and four touchdowns.

McCarty is also the top returning rusher, having run for 316 yards on 82 carries for five touchdowns. Though the running back room is stretched thin for veterans, the quarterbacks are known for their dual-threat abilities, ready to tuck the ball if needed.

At receiver, the two top targets in Keyvaum Eady and Jaylen Fite are returning, and the two combined for 326 yards on 26 receptions, and Eady had three touchdowns.

On defense, several top tacklers are returning, led by Aden Murphy, who had a team-high 68 tackles as a redshirt junior, including six tackles for loss and half a sack. Malcom Liufau had 66 tackles and led the team in tackles for loss with 10 for 48 yards, had three sacks for 22 yards and three forced fumbles. Joseph Northcutt leads the way in sacks, as he had 4.5 for 32 yards and eight tackles for loss for 39 yards, establishing himself as a valuable part of the defensive line.

The returning defensive backs are stacked with veteran talent, with interception leaders Andrew Simpson, who had six, and Tyler Copeland, who had three, leading the way in the secondary.
