JJ Andrews, Sheek Pearson lead Brad Beal Elite to title

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. — The 2025 Nike Peach Jam is in the books and Brad Beal Elite has captured the 2025 EYBL championship, defeating the New York Rens 75-55 in the Riverview Activities Center. The title is Brad Beal Elite’s second consecutive championship after winning the E16 crown a year ago and returning largely the same roster.

Arkansas commitment J.J. Andrews has been the focal point for BBE all season long and taken his ranking all the way to No. 13 overall in the country because of it. On Sunday in the final, Andrews scored a game-high 20 points, displaying his trademark ability to get downhill and to the free-throw line. Nonetheless, though, this championship run was one characterized by balance.

Brad Beal Elite also featured Sheek Pearson, another nationally ranked player already off the board. Pearson, who is ranked No. 67 in the 2025 class, pledged to Marquette back in May. After missing time with injury earlier in the week, Pearson returned to the line-up for bracket play, but didn’t appear to be quite 100 percent this weekend with a taped-up lower leg.
