LADERA RANCH, Calif. — The end of a grueling spring and summer of grassroots basketball is growing closer and closer, and on Friday at the Adidas Earn Your Stripes Invitational, players, coaches, and evaluators alike came face to face with the wall. Justifiably exhausted after criss-crossing the country since April, it takes a lot of gumption and effort to power through and finish strong.
On Friday, I spent the day checking in on players whom I wanted a fresh evaluation on, while also spending some time hunting for prospects that I needed to get more familiar with or get my first look at their game. I was pleasantly surprised by what I was able to see during my second day at the OGP Ladera facility.
