An Ohio State football team won a national championship on Saturday.
While the varsity Buckeyes await word on what their seed will be in this year’s College Football Playoff as they look to make a four-game run to the Division I national championship, Ohio State’s club football team won the NCFA championship on Saturday with a 20-13 victory over Clayton State.

The Buckeyes came back from a 13-0 first-half deficit to score the game’s final 20 points, finishing the game with a goal-line stand to secure a victory over Clayton State, whose club football program made the national championship game in its inaugural season.

Ohio State’s club football team has now won three national championships since 2019, having also won the NCFA title in 2021.
