Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse’s 2026 recruiting class has a new headliner in blue-chip wide receiver Calvin Russell.
The Miami native is a multi-sport athlete who is rated as a high four-star prospect, according to 247Sports’ composite formula, though some scouting services, including 247Sports, rates him as a five-star recruit.
He’s in line to be the Orange’s highest-ranked high school prospect to sign with the school in the modern recruiting era (since 2002).
Russell’s pledge to play at Syracuse adds him to a recruiting class that is 26 players deep, as of publication.
