SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Springfield Police Department (SPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating an endangered missing person.

The SPD says 58-year-old Shiela J. White is missing after leaving Myers Medical Center, where she was being treated for a potentially life-threatening condition when she checked herself out under duress.
Shiela is described as 5-foot-6, weighing 248 pounds, with light brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red shirt and green leggings.
The SPD says she left the facility with her husband, 39-year-old Chris White. He is described as 6 feet tall, 176 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair, and a beard.
Shiela was last seen with Chris White in a silver Chevy Envoy with MO plate LE3G6Z at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, pulling a boat near Nichols Ave. and West Ave.

The SPD says there is significant concern for Shiela’s physical wellbeing.
