Blue-chip offensive lineman Maxwell Hiller had an idea of what his top group of schools looked like prior to June 15, which was when the rules stated that college coaches could start contacting 2027 prospects.
However, the Coatesville (Pa.) Area standout and nation’s No. 1 interior offensive lineman prospect waited to see if much changed in the three-plus weeks since then.
In naming a top eight of Alabama, Georgia, Penn State, South Carolina, Ohio State, Clemson, Tennessee and Maryland, individual characteristics of each program led to his list, Hiller said.
