What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stlcardinals84: We have two entirely different slates on FD and DK today, with FD offering a 12-game slate that includes Coors Field plus the later 4:00 PM games. There are quite a few good pitchers in those later games. I really like that slate today, and I will be building about 10 large-field GPP lineups on each site. With so much expensive pitching on the board today, I plan to build a few GPP rosters that go with some cheaper options like Gavin Williams and Jeffrey Springs. I will do that in lineups where I am playing chalkier offenses. In lineups where I am spending up at pitcher, I will go with cheaper stacks like the White Sox and Pirates.

Krayton: I will be playing 20-entry max and single-entry contests on both sites, and I will be a little bit more spread out on offense than I usually am. On FanDuel, we get a 12-game slate, and I will be more overweight on the offenses that aren’t included on DK, including the Dodgers, the entire Coors game, and the Diamondbacks. Over on DK, I will be overweight on a cheap pitcher in Jeffrey Springs at just $5,900. I plan on building my stacks/lineups first, and then I’ll see where I land for pitching. The Yankees and Braves are two stacks I will be overweight on, and then I also like getting exposure to the Athletics at what I expect to be very low ownership.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field contests on DK, and since I don’t really like any offense on this slate, I plan to keep a tight pitching pool and play as close to every offense on the slate as possible. On FanDuel, outside of Minnesota, I don’t think there’s any reason to worry about ownership whatsoever, as everything is so spread out, so I would take shots on some of the higher implied run total teams like the Dodgers and Diamondbacks, while also getting overweight on the Rockies.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
