FRISCO, Texas — FIU’s Brian Blades II, Keyone Jenkins and Head Coach Willie Simmons will take part in Conference USA’s (CUSA) 2025 Kickoff on Tuesday, hosted by the league office at the PGA Headquarters in the Dallas-metro area.
Blades, Jenkins and Simmons will all be first-time representatives for the Panthers at the CUSA Kickoff, of which features media/podcast availability, digital content opportunities and a live show aired on ESPN+. FIU will take part in the day’s marquee event, the ESPN+ live show, for a 20-minute session, which begins at approximately 11:45 a.m. ET / 10:45 a.m. CT.

FIU is set to begin fall camp next week in preparation for its first contest of the Willie Simmons era, a home matchup with Bethune-Cookman under the lights on South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium on Friday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. ET.
