Alabama football does not have a definitive lead back as the Crimson Tide kicks off its season at Florida State.
According to Alabama’s team-issued depth chart ahead of its meeting against the Seminoles, Richard Young, Daniel Hill and Dre Washington each have “ORs” next to their place on the depth chart in a room without Jam Miller, who has a collarbone injury.
Of Alabama’s available backs, Young comes into 2025 with the most experience after recording 146 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries. Hill is close behind with 61 rushing yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.
Alabama opens the 2025 season Saturday, Aug. 30 at Florida State. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT.
