Colorado dipped into the Lone Star State and landed a productive defender’s commitment Thursday in Carthage (Texas) High linebacker Carson Crawford. From one of the state’s best teams, Crawford originally committed to Texas State but reopened his recruitment June 22 and chose the Buffaloes after visiting them among several others. The three-star prospect committed to Colorado over offers from Houston, San Diego State and UNLV, among others.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Crawford is ranked by 247Sports as the class of 2026‘s No. 34 linebacker nationally and No. 77 overall prospect in Texas.
What are the Buffs getting in Crawford? We’ve got the details.
