Two training events will be held for the public through the Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur
Center on July 9 and July 30.
On July 9, a presentation on creating a “Google Business Profile” to allow a business to be more
searchable on Google Search and Maps will be provided. In this workshop, attendees will learn
how to create or claim a Google Business Profile, manage business info across the Google
Search and Maps platform, and use a Business Profile to ensure that customer can find
accurate, updated information about your local business, no matter which device they use.
On July 30, a presentation focused on helping businesses differentiate themselves from
competitors will be held. Topics that will be addressed in this session will include discussing the
most effective and accurate ways to compile your target persona, market research tips and
effective communication strategies to develop customer loyalty and reviews.
