Chelsea star Noni Madueke has been granted permission to undergo his medical with local rivals Arsenal, with both clubs agreeing on a £52 million deal on Thursday. The 23-year-old had already agreed to a five-year deal with the Gunners before the final transfer was confirmed.
The England international will leave his camp in the United States as it gears up to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup on Sunday. He will head back to the UK on Friday to undergo his medical for the North London club.

Madueke is the second player to make the cross-London trek from Stanford Bridge to Holloway this month, following goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who agreed to a £5 million transfer on July 1.
Previously playing for Dutch powerhouse PSV Eindhoven, Madueke joined Chelsea in a £33 million deal in 2023. He has since played in 92 games and dished up 20 goals and nine assists for the Blues. However, Chelsea has struggled to produce a good season, finishing sixth and fourth in their last two Premier League campaigns.
