In just two years, Deion Sanders has shown that he was the right choice to turn around a flailing Colorado football program.
After going 1-11 in 2022, the Buffaloes finished 4-8 under Sanders in 2023, then made a massive jump to 9-3 this year. Behind stellar performances from quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter, Colorado emerged as a legitimate contender for the Big 12 title.
Unfortunately for the Buffaloes, a 37-21 loss to Kansas on Nov. 23 dealt a significant blow to their championship dreams. However, Colorado’s 52-0 blowout victory over Oklahoma State last week put the squad in position to hit double-digits in the win column for the first time since 2016.

Colorado is off this week because it did not reach the Big 12 championship game. The Buffaloes will next play in a bowl game.
In his latest projections, The Sporting News’ Bill Bender predicts that Colorado will face Big 12 rival BYU in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 28. If the Buffs land in that slot, their game would air on ABC. That matchup would also be available to stream on Fubo.
