Gracie Abrams summed up what most Taylor Swift fans have said at shows and on social media about the Eras Tour coming to an end: “I really don’t know how we’re supposed to have the words to talk about this tour ending – that isn’t just a tour – but it’s in my mind it’s the glue that has kept us all together over the past couple years.”
Although she called it “sappy,” the 25-year-old had a sentimental moment Saturday night on the second to last night of the Eras Tour. As she down at the piano for her fourth song, “I Miss You, I’m Sorry,” she told the crowd inside the PC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada: “It’s been the privilege of my lifetime to be in Taylor’s orbit, to be in your orbit.”
Abrams’ robin blue asymmetrical dress stood out in contrast to the black background. T
She switched up the order of her nine-song setlist on night two of the shows in British Columbia, putting the viral song seen across TikTok and Instagram, “That’s So True” in the middle, instead of the end:
- “Risk”
- “21”
- “I Told You Things”
- “I Miss You, I’m Sorry”
- “Let It Happen”
- “That’s So True”
- “Free Now”
- “Us.”
- “Close To You”
Abrams and Swift are up for a Grammy for best pop duo / group performance for co-writing and recording “Us.” They performed the song twice on the tour: June 23 at Wembley Stadium in London (the same show Travis Kelce wore a tuxedo on stage) and Nov. 16 at Rogers Centre in Toronto.
Only one more show remains for the Eras Tour. The final curtain will fall on Sunday.
