HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Two days.
57 High School Football teams equals a successful Football in the South Media Days.
The second day of the event concluded in Sheffield, Alabama, with 28 teams from North Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi met with media to preview the upcoming 2025 High School season.
Community support on Friday nights unlike any other experience within the state.
“It’s unreal,” Deshler Head Football Coach Patrick Malone.
“It’s unlike any other place (Howard Chappell Stadium), and I joked several times before I got to Deshler, you know, the people in Tuscumbia think Deshler, it may be the second best job in the state with Alabama and Auburn, depending on who you pull for being #1. And you know, I grew up in Tuscumbia, graduated from Duster, played at Duster. So I kind of have that.”
Week Zero of the High School Football season kicks off August 21st and 22nd.
