HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The High School Football season is just 30 days away.
Coaches and players will meet with media members the next two weeks prior to kick off.
Across North Alabama, High School Football Media Days are underway.
The annual Football in the South Media Days is a two day event held in Sheffield, Alabama. This year, 57 High School from North Alabama participated.
“I just think the Community support, you know and seeing these players, you know, being there so long, you’ve seen them grow up throughout the school and you finally get to be their turn to be out on the field,” Central-Florence Head Coach Heath Wood said.
“Just something you can see it in their eyes. But, you know, as far as us and our community, it’s the support and the fans and and everyone that’s involved. But really for these players it’s it’s been around for so long.”
The first practice of Fall camp is set for August 4. Week Zero of the High School Football season kicks off August 21-22.
