An actor who appeared in a number of Hollyoaks episodes has been found of guilty of raping two women – one of whom he attacked after she had fallen asleep.
Rizwan Khan, 40, was also found guilty of sexually assaulting one of his victims and slapping a child across the face, in separate incidents.
Following a trial at Teeside Crown Court, the father-of-one was convicted of raping two women in separate attacks.
The vile rapist became violent with his first victim before asking her to engage in sexual intercourse, the court was told.
Prosecuting, Robin Turton said the victim recalled Khan telling her: ‘I need what I need. I want what I want. You, as a woman, should abide by what a man wants.’
She told police the actor had raped her after she told him ‘no’, adding that ‘in the end I just let him’ out of fear he would assault her if she declined, The Sun reported.
After Khan forced himself on the victim, she managed to kick him off, the barrister explained. The 40-year-old then strangled the woman against a wall before she managed to flee from the property.
Khan also sexually assaulted a second woman after she had fallen asleep. Jurors were told how she woke up to find him performing a sex act on her.

In 2019, Khan starred in several Hollyoaks episodes as Doctor Peak, and once again as a paramedic a year later.
Judge Paul Reid granted the actor conditional bail to stay overnight in his home, with the 40-year-old scheduled to be sentenced on October 14.

The 40-year-old has also starred in Holby City and two episodes of ITV detective drama, Vera.
The father-of-one, known as Riz, previously worked in a call centre as well as a financial firm before he began to land acting gigs six years ago.
On his IMDb page, the actor claimed to help people with ‘mental health challenges’ as well as providing support for ‘single fathers navigating the often complex family court system’.
