Liverpool are backed as 15/8 favourites with Sky Bet to retain their Premier League crown next season, but which team are expected to run them close?

Liverpool have been backed by Sky Bet to retain the Premier League title in 2025/26.

The Reds romped home last season to take the crown by 10 points in what was Arne Slot’s first year in charge of the club.

Despite their triumph, they have been busy strengthening this summer, with Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez all arriving, while Hugo Ekitike is also set to join. 

And, according to Sky Bet, Slot is fancied to go back-to-back, with his side valued as 15/8 favourites to win the Premier League in 2025-26.

Their closest rivals for the title are expected to be Arsenal, who come in at 2/1, while Man City are priced at 11/4.

Chelsea raised eyebrows with a sensational Club World Cup triumph, but they remain fourth favourites at 15/2 to follow that up with the Premier League title.

Meanwhile, Man United’s top flight trophy drought has now passed 12 years, but they are massive outsiders at 33/1 to return to their glory days next season.

Tottenham are priced even further out at 40/1 while Newcastle come in at 22/1.
