Manchester United have reportedly accepted a bid from Real Betis for the sale of Antony.
As well as Tyrell Malacia, Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho, the Brazilian winger is one of four remaining ‘Bomb Squad’ members at United, whom Ruben Amorim have cast aside and told to look for new clubs.
Marcus Rashford secured his dream move to Barcelona in a loan move which was completed earlier this summer.
Now, Antony looks to be on his way back to Spain, where he spent the second half of last season on loan at Betis, this time on a permanent deal.
According to Sky Sports, the move is subject to the player and club agreeing personal terms, but club-to-club negotiations are no longer a stumbling block.
United have reportedly given Antony permission to fly to the south of Spain to finalise the move.

As of now, the fee for Antony’s sale is undisclosed, but it will certainly be a far cry from the £85million United paid for him when he arrived from Ajax in 2022.
