• Miles City 50, East Helena 47: In a wild one, Warren Venable found Jake Phalen for a 45-yard touchdown with 1:53 to play, giving the Cowboys their only lead of the game and the winning points. Venable tossed four touchdown passes on the night, and Kordt Smith had three TD strikes, including a 77-yard hookup with Venable. The Vigilantes led 27-16 in the second quarter and went up 40-24 in the third, but the Cowboys continued to answer. Bearek Shuman passed for three TDs for East Helena, including a 19-yard toss to tight end Cooper Dighans that put the Vigilantes up 47-44 with 2:31 remaining. Leo Longcake rushed for three scores.

Class B
• Three Forks 25, Florence-Carlton 13: Quarterback Kanon Reichman scored four touchdowns as the Wolves charged out to a 19-0 lead. He ran for two scores and threw two touchdowns, both to Gavin Etchison. Florence quarterback Brody Duchien tossed two second-half TDs, one apiece to Chase Wagner and Levi Winters, the latter going for 55 yards.
8-Man
• Seeley-Swan 50, Arlee 6: The Blackhawks rolled past the Warriors on big games from Kolten Zurmuehlen and Quinlan McClure. Zurmuehlen had three TD runs, while McClure scored on rushes of 10 and six yards. Cash Schuster added a 40-yard touchdown pass from Blake Irwin. The Warriors’ lone score came on a 14-yard touchdown pass from Keelan Dupuis to Kade Dupuis-Pablo.
6-Man
• Highwood 50, White Sulphur Springs 26: Braxton Crowder reeled in first-half touchdown passes from Ryder Bowman covering 46, 33 and 50 yards, and Treyton Tinsen hit paydirt on four touchdown runs, including a 66-yard burst for the Mountaineers in their season opener. Kyler Lind rushed for a score and caught a 31-yard TD strike from Beau Schroyer for the Hornets, and Daniel Massee scored on a 20-yard run.
