A new era of Oregon football has arrived. The Ducks enter their second season in the Big Ten Conference as the nation’s No. 7 ranked team in the preseason AP Top 25 poll.Â
The Ducks are entering the 2025 college football season as the No. 7 team in the country and are looking to defend their 2024 Big Ten Championship. The Ducks had a record-setting year last year as the Ducks entered Big Ten country for the first time and went 12-0 in the regular season, beat Penn State in the Big Ten Championship, and entered the College football Playoffs as the No. 1 overall seed.
The Ducks are set to kick off the 2025 season inside Autzen Stadium Saturday at 1 p.m. PST when No. 7 Oregon hosts Montana State, which enters the season as an FCS Top 10 ranked team. It’s been 78 years since the Ducks and Bobcats faced off on the gridiron, with Oregon taking the first and only other game played between the Ducks and Bobcats. Oregon played Montana State in 1947 and won 27-14.
