Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain meet at MetLife Stadium on Wednesday with a place in the FIFA Club World Cup final at stake. This marks the first competitive meeting between the two since their 2022 Champions League tie, and the first since Kylian Mbappé left PSG for Madrid. He will lead the line after returning from illness to score in the quarterfinals.
Madrid arrives unbeaten in the tournament, with 11 goals scored across five matches. Gonzalo García has stepped up during Mbappé’s gradual return, scoring four times and assisting once. A red card for Dean Huijsen in the previous round rules him out, while Alaba, Camavinga and Endrick remain sidelined.

PSG have also won four of five, all without conceding. Their only loss came in the group stage against Botafogo. Nine different players have scored for Luis Enrique’s side, including Ousmane Dembélé, who will start. PSG are missing suspended defenders Lucas Hernandez and Willian Pacho, but their attacking core remains intact.
Real Madrid have won the Club World Cup five times and never lost a match in the competition. PSG are in their first semifinal, seeking to win yet another major trophy this season. The winner will face Chelsea in Sunday’s final.
