What College Football Playoff fans (probably) think of new rankings
After the last CFP rankings before the field is set, Before The Snap shares a joking take on the latest rankings from the fans’ perspective.
This year’s conference championship weekend comes with additional intrigue. With five conference champs guaranteed a spot in the College Football Playoff, there is plenty to lose aside from the conference title.
There are three games on tap today. One of them – Boise State vs. UNLV – has massive CFP implications. Another – Tulane vs. Army – could spark debate regarding the CFP’s automatic bids for each of the Power 4 conference champs. However, before we get to either of those games, we’ll get a showdown between Western Kentucky and Jacksonville State for the Conference USA championship.
Here’s how to watch each of Friday’s conference championship matchups.
