
Scheffler opens at 3-under and eyes improvement at Scottish Open
Scheffler finished 3-under in round one and is focused on adjusting to tougher wind conditions heading into Friday.

Round 2 of the Scottish Open begins Friday. The tee times start at 2 AM ET.
The first round was intriguing with Top 10 golfer Sepp Straka finishing 6-under par on the day. Straka, Nico Echavarria, Jake Knapp and Victor Perez all shared the same score, marking the first time the Scottish Open had multiple leaders since joining the PGA Tour in 2022.
U.S. Open winner J.J. Spaun struggled on the day, shooting an even par 70 along with Tommy Fleetwood. The golfers will look forward to the rest of the weekend to perform better and finish higher in the standings. Scottie Scheffler finished the day on 3-under while Rory McIlroy finished on 2-under.
