EAST LANSING, MI –– Michigan State football kicked off its season under the lights against Western Michigan.
Year two in the green and white for head coach Jonathan Smith, year two under center for junior quarterback Aidan Chiles and A packed Spartan Stadium crowd.
Fireworks flew with each touchdown scored on Friday, Aug. 29, 2025 and the Spartans defeated the Broncos, 23-6.
