Top 200 Overall PPR Rankings for Fantasy Football

Sport: NFL

Fantasy football rankings season is in full gear and it is time to start going through my rankings. I am kicking it off (see what I did there?) with my Top-200 Overall PPR rankings. There is plenty to get into regarding both the process and the rankings themselves. So kick off your shoes – wait, I already used that one – so Spider 3 Y Banana on down and let’s have at it.

About My PPR Rankings

My PPR rankings are precisely that. They are based on leagues that reward one point per reception. Many fantasy managers gloss over league settings when looking at rankings. That is the biggest mistake you can make before a draft. Below, you will see that I have Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey at 15th overall. If I were ranking based on Half-PPR scoring, McConkey would be outside my top-20. And if I were ranking based on Standard scoring, I would have him outside my top-25. These are considerable discrepancies in value when it comes to a player going in the first two rounds of most drafts. You can find differences like this everywhere. Make sure you are using the correct set (or sets) of rankings based on the leagues you are drafting in.

Rankings Change a Lot

I have revised this list multiple times over the past couple of weeks and will continue to do so until approximately 8:00 PM EST on Thursday, September 4. When I post my running back rankings next week, the order will undoubtedly be different than the order of the running backs below. The fantasy football landscape changes daily, even when games aren’t being played. We have 24/7 access to training camp highlights, press conferences, and a wealth of other information that can instantly alter our opinions of players. So if you see that I have Aaron Jones as my overall RB22 this week and his ranking changes over the next few days, it does not necessarily mean my opinion of him has drastically changed. It may just mean that I tweaked a couple of players near him in the running back rankings.

Ranking Quarterbacks

The list below does not reflect the exact order in which I would draft these players. There are multiple reasons for this. One aspect of refining fantasy football rankings that consistently presents an issue is determining the overall ranking of quarterbacks in relation to other players. Quarterbacks are usually among the highest-scoring players regardless of format. Last year, 17 total players scored at least 300 points in PPR scoring. Ten of them were quarterbacks. But nobody would advise drafting 10 quarterbacks among the first 17 picks, even in a SuperFlex league.

Aaron Rodgers was not one of the 10 quarterbacks who scored over 300 points last year. However, he still outscored CeeDee Lamb, Brock Bowers, and Alvin Kamara in total fantasy points in 2024. However, nobody is suggesting drafting Rodgers anywhere near those other players. I would not even draft him at 152 overall, which is his current ranking. Considering that most leagues still only require one starting quarterback per team, there are probably too many quarterbacks on my list. I do not know what the perfect solution is to fix the quarterback dilemma. I trust the folks who convert positional rankings into overall rankings (most notably the fine people over at Hashtag Football and FantasyPros). Their data suggests that the rankings of the quarterbacks generally align with where I have them.

I ranked all Flex players (running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends) based on how I currently project them to finish in total PPR scoring. I will also be unveiling rankings for each of those three position groups in the coming weeks. Hopefully, they will assist further with questions you may have heading into your drafts. I will not have a separate set of rankings for quarterbacks, which is another reason I wanted to include a few extra among my top 200 PPR rankings. I also do not draft a defense/special teams unit or a kicker before the final three rounds. But I did include a few inside these rankings for reference purposes. Adjust the placement of players at those positions according to the size of your player pool.
