Top Plays for Sunday, 7/6/25

Charlie Cummings gives his top DraftKings WNBA Pick6 plays and projections for the three-game WNBA slate on Sunday, July 6th.

WNBA action on Sunday will kick off at 1 p.m. ET. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will examine my top Pick6 plays for today’s action. You simply choose whether each set statistic will be more or less than the set number. With the stage set, here are my favorite picks on the WNBA slate.

A’ja Wilson More Than 23.5 Points

A’ja Wilson sure wishes this season was going differently. The Aces are below .500 and struggling to stay in the playoff picture. But that hasn’t stopped Wilson from cooking. She’s averaging 22.1 points per game on the year and is a lock for an All-WNBA.

In two games against the lottery-bound Sun, Wilson has scored 22 points in both contests. She’s overdue for a massive performance. Connecticut and its league-worst defense seems like the opportunity.

Natasha Cloud Less Than 21.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Natasha Cloud has had a strange scoring season. She has six double-digit scoring performances on the year. Those came in the first three games of the season, and in her last three. Over her last three, she’s averaging 19 points, four rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game. So why am I fading her in this one?

This Storm defense is a different beast. They’re excellent at containing drives and paint points. And while Cloud is hitting her threes in the past few games, that hasn’t been the case for the majority of the season. I’m counting on enough of a shooting regression for Cloud to take her down to a more reasonable P/R/A mark.

Angel Reese More Than 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Angel Reese’s stat lines in her past four games have been jaw-dropping. She’s had 16+ rebounds in all four games, while averaging 17.3 points and 4.8 assists per game. That’s the kind of production that puts you in All-Star games.

This Liberty defense is awfully intimidating, but a key presence is missing: Jonquel Jones. New York’s best defender and rebounder. That gives Reese the green light to dominate on the glass and do her best to organize the Chicago offense. I think a fifth straight monster stat line is in order.

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of 2+ players and select whether or not you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.

How to Play

Create a Pick Set

Create a Pick Set for Pick6 by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice, and you must pick players from at least two different teams.

Enter an Amount

Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.

Sweat Your Picks

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.

Compete for Prizes

Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
