Here’s how you can nominate an athlete for the Piggly Wiggly Milwaukee Journal Sentinel high school athlete of the week.
Week 2 of the high school football season is upon us!
Last week’s season openers featured some marquee non-conference contests that led to early movement in our area top 10. The non-conference slate continues tonight before league games begin next week.
Who will be the big winners?
The Journal Sentinel will have live coverage throughout the night with scores in our Scorestream widget below for every game in Wisconsin. We’ll also have regular updates at two Milwaukee area games: Sussex Hamilton at Racine Case and Oak Creek at Muskego.
Follow below for updates throughout the night:
Before kickoff tonight, let’s get you caught up on the other big news of the day.
Waukesha County Circuit Court judge Paul Bugenhagen Jr. did not make a decision on Arrowhead senior football player Tristen Seidl in the family’s case against the WIAA. Bugenhagen scheduled another hearing to be held Sept. 5, meaning Seidl will have to sit out tonight’s Arrowhead game against Neenah. He also sat out last week’s season opener against Marquette.
