All Alabama football can do is wait.

After ending the 2024 regular season with a 28-14 home win against rival Auburn, the Crimson Tide seemingly remains at the edge of the College Football Playoff conversation. And with no trip to the SEC championship, Alabama’s national championship hopes rest in the CFP selection committee.

According to the latest US LBM Coaches Poll, Alabama, at No. 11, remains the top three-loss team in the field ahead of South Carolina, Ole Miss and Clemson.

And in the final set of CFP rankings before the final bracket is revealed Sunday, Alabama remains as one of the top 12 teams vying for a national championship.
