Man credits Lebanon firefighters with saving trucking business

LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Lebanon business owner is thanking firefighters for their quick response after one of his semi-trucks caught on fire in late November.

Phil Perron, who owns a trucking company, shared a video of the Lebanon Fire Department’s response to one of his new Peterbilt trucks that caught fire.

Just before 6 a.m., LFD responded to the Pine Street business to find a semi-truck engulfed in flames. Crews were able to control the fire until additional units arrived on the scene.

Eventually, the fire was extinguished and units were able to return to service.

“I want to give Lebanon Fire Dept, station 1, a huge shout out,” Perron wrote. ” They responded to a truck fire, Sunday morning which involved 3 of my trucks. The Peterbilt was a total loss, the other 2 got a little scorched but they’re still out earning their keep.”
